Mission and vision
Inspired by the legacy and the work of their ancestors, H.R.H. Hereditary Prince Philip and H.R.H Princess Danica, preserve Serbian cultural and historical heritage and continue the tradition, cultural, moral and creative inspirations of the previous generations of the Karađorđević dynasty with a special focus on innovations and modern ideas they represent.

HRH Hereditary Prince Philip of Serbia
His Royal Highness Hereditary Prince Philip was born on January 15, 1982 in Fairfax, Virginia, USA.
Hereditary Prince Philip is the son of HRH Crown Prince Alexander Karađorđević and Her Imperial and Royal Highness Princess Maria da Gloria of Orléans and Braganza. Hereditary Prince Philip is the grandson of H.M. King Peter II Karađorđević and H.M. Queen Alexandra, great-grandson of H.M. King Alexander I the Unifier, great-grandson of H.M. King Peter I the Liberator and descendant of H.R.H. Prince Alexander and Vožd Karađorđe Petrović, the leader of the first Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire.
Hereditary Prince Philip is the twin brother of HRH Prince Alexander, and the first in line of succession to the Serbian Throne (after his father, Crown Prince Alexander). Their older brother is HRH Prince Peter, and their godparents are H.M. the late Greek King Constantine, and HRH Princess Anna Duchess of Calabria.
After the divorce of his parents, Prince Philip lived with his brothers and their mother in Seville, Spain, then moved to London with their father, Crown Prince Alexander. In 2000, Prince Philip graduated from the King’s School in Canterbury, England. He graduated in Hispanic studies at University College London (UCL), then studied hotel management at École Hotélière de Lausanne, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Hereditary Prince Philip began his career at Landsbanki in the City of London. He then worked at IKOS, a global hedge fund in Cyprus, after which he worked as a financial analyst at the renowned global asset management company, Lazard, in London.
After 15 years experience in the field of finance, he is professionally attached to “Bitcoin”, which he considers a necessary upgrade of our legacy global financial system. In October 2022, he became Chief Strategy Officer for JAN3, a digital infrastructure company focused on expanding access to Bitcoin technology. With the goal to provide tools for individuals, autonomous regions, and sovereign nations, to benefit and be part of a free and open financial system based on Bitcoin.
Hereditary Prince Philip is a fan of snowboarding, surfing and football. He ran the Athens Marathon in 2010, the Belgrade Half-Marathon in 2011, and the London Marathon in 2014. He speaks Spanish, English, and is actively studying Serbian.
HRH Princess Danica of Serbia
Her Royal Highness Princess Danica was born on August 17, 1986 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Princess Danica is the daughter of the renowned Serbian contemporary painter Milan Marinković Cile and Zorica Beba Marinković, economist (dipl. oecc).
Since 1992, Princess Danica lived in Paris, together with her parents, where she started elementary school, returned to Belgrade for few years, and returned back to Paris in 1997, where she completes elementary and high school education as well as all the overall academic studies, while she accomplish her Master studies in London.
Princess Danica graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Paris, department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication. At the same time, she studied comparative literature and Slavic studies at the Sorbonne University – Paris IV, where she obtained a second degree of studies. She completed her Master’s studies in graphic design and communication at the University of the Arts in London (UAL) – Chelsea College of Art and Design. She has been a member of the Association of Fine and Applied Arts and Designers of Serbia – ULUPUDS since 2010, in the design section. Within her basic profession of graphic design and visual communications, she is particularly oriented towards publishing, mainly towards the design of catalogues for exhibitions of fine artists, art and theatre posters. Also, Princess Danica expresses herself creatively as a collage artist. Her already recognisable style is manifested through the collages she creates and actively exhibits through individual and group exhibitions as well as art fairs, thus becoming part of the cultural milieu of Belgrade and Paris. Princess Danica uses the artistic name Dana MAAR under which she is recognised. From the numerous independent collage exhibitions in Belgrade, Princess Danica singles out the exhibitions at the Parobrod Culture Institute, the New Moment Gallery, the Atrium Gallery of the Library of the City of Belgrade, the Supermarket “concept store”, as well as the Ozone Gallery. While in Paris, she highlights exhibitions at the Galerie Origines and Galleries Artessepia as part of the Carré Rive Gauche, Saint-Germain des Près event. Her collages have been exhibited at the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Paris for several years. Among the many completed projects within the basic profession of graphic design and visual communications, Princess Danica received the BINA (Belgrade International Week of Architecture) award for an architectural event in 2010 for the project “Portraits of Architects – a retrospective exhibition of members of the architectural section of ULUPUDS 1953-2010”, as well as the plaque of the Salon of May of the Association of Fine and Applied Artists of Serbia (ULUPUDS) in 2011. Princess Danica speaks Serbian, French, English and Spanish.
Wedding
HRH Hereditary Prince Philip and HRH Princess Danica got married in the Cathedral Church in Belgrade on October 7th, 2017. The wedding was officiated by His Holiness the late Serbian Patriarch Irinej. The bride’s witness was HRH Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, and the best man HRH Prince Peter Karađorđević.
In Belgrade, on February 25th, 2018, Their Royal Highnesses Princess Danica and HRH Hereditary Prince Philip welcomed their son, Prince Stefan, who is the first descendant of Karađorđe born in Belgrade, Serbia, after 90 years. The princely couple and their son moved from London, where they lived, to Serbia on Vidovdan 2020 and since then have been living in Belgrade, Vračar.
Together, they founded the “Foundation of Hereditary Prince Philip and Princess Danica of Serbia” in order to work on the preservation of Serbian cultural and historical heritage and identity.
