His Majesty Knightly King Alexander I the Unifier was born in Cetinje on December 16, 1888. He served as the Regent and Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Serbia (1914-1918), Regent and Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (1918-1921), then as King of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (1921-1929), and King of Yugoslavia (1929-1934).

His Majesty King Peter II was born in Belgrade on September 6, 1923. He was King of Yugoslavia (1934—1970), the first son of Knightly King Alexander I the Unifier and Queen Maria.

His Majesty King Alexander II, the titular King of Yugoslavia and Serbia, was born on July 17, 1945 in Suite 212 of the Claridge’s Hotel in London, which was declared Yugoslav extraterritorial for the occasion, so that the heir to the throne would be born on the soil of his own country as his homeland was under occupation.
